Alternate Knee To Chest

Benefits of exercise:
  • Helps maintain or increase your ability to bend your hips and lower back.

Hints:
  • If the back of your head does not easily rest on the floor, place a folded towel under your head to help you achieve a neutral spine.

 

Repetition recommended:
  • Remission Patient: 10 reps, hold for 10 seconds each time, 1 time/day.

  • Flare Patient: 5 reps, hold for 10 seconds each time, 2-3 times/day.

Caution:
  • If dizziness is experienced, discontinue the exercise and contact your doctor.
